LSS

it's been 2 months now since i first heard Howie Day's song, Collide from one of jason magbanua's onsite avp. i downloaded the mp3, played it on my pc, played it in my car, and play it again when i get home... walang kasawa-sawa. hehehe...

it's a pretty nice song actually. should you want to hear it, click on the link... Howie Day - Collide

One Proud Mom... to our Rocko

been sicky for the whole week, and still sick with the colds and cough virus. though, called in sick at work for a day, only a day, because of some work that needs to be done asap. oh well... so much for all the vacay that i've had...

today is mother's day, and to all the mothers out there, Happy Mother's Day to you! to my mommy, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU MOM!

this mother's day thing has kept me thinking this morning.... i thought i'd compose a good message and forward to all the mothers that i know.... and i was also thinking, "ako kaya, kelan magiging mother?" oh well... we'll get there... dba nga, there's a reason for everything. so, baka, i'm not yet ready to be a mom, or baka, there are still other stuff that i need to settle before giving me the responsibility of taking care of a baby. nobody knows... and i believe that patience is a virtue. arnold and i were talking the other night, having one of our quiet, quality-time moments, i asked him if wants to have kids already, and he said yes, but he can wait; and if we can not have one soon, he's fine with having more rockos, some will be black and some will be yellow. rocko is our 5yo lab. he's been our baby eversince. and we're proud to be his humans, aka parents. hahahaha...

i don't wanna be all mushy with all these mother's day thingy... again to all the mothers out there, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Rabbit's Foot

if you've seen tom cruise's latest stint, i'm sure, you'll be asking what is a rabbit's foot?

some may say that a rabbit's foot is some kind of a goodluck charm. but in this movie it is used as a MacGuffin. the rabbit's foot here is a some biohazard, though, it was not exactly mentioned in the film, but the symbol indicated it. on what kind of biohazard, that i also don't know. hehehehe...

my opinion on the film? well.... it's ok..... i guess, i like jackie chan movies better. tom cruise, by the way really and still looks good. hehehehe... truly an eye candy!

Lending a Helping Hand

lately, i've been trying to help out a couple of my friends scheduled to get married within the year. one will marry on may and the other on october. i've been sharing with them some pointers and lessons that i've learned through my own wedding preparations five months ago.

these people are two of my super friends who have been there with me in good and bad times. they were also there trying to help out in my wedding preps. this time around, it is my turn to willingly offer my services to them. this is not just a "help me out thing", they actually asked me to help me out and nicely and discreetly asked if i can lookover the things that need to be done come wedding day. well... i kinda said yes... but not promises...

they've been seeking my opinion and frequently asking for suggestions on how to go about their wedding. i always tell them that whatever the bride and the groom wants will be delivered on their wedding day, but of course everything with proper planning and coordination. although, i'm a bit masungit at times, i still work with them with patience. this is not my wedding, but theirs. i already spoke with my sisters-in-law if they are willing to help out if in case my marrying friends need more than a pair of hands to work on their wedding, they openly accepted the offer. thanks armi and judy. *muah*

so, we've been planning their big day/s (days nalang kse 2 sila eh) for some time now. the activities and plans for the may wedding are now falling into place. btw, this wedding is a quick-quick preps wedding. something like, 3 or 4 mos preps. the groom has been the one doing most of the leg work, and he's been the one seeking my advice on wedding stuff. hehehe.... swerte naman nang bride... so far, the groom has been very cooperative when i tell him the stuff that needs to be done. not only him who's wishing everything will work as planned on his wedding day, i too is having the same sentiments because i've been with him from the start of his preps. good luck to you, wandypooh. wishing you all the best.

to my friends who have given their trust to me and my sisters, thank you. we really appreciate it. *muah*

Free and Available

getting the hung of blogging again. i've been trying to visit the blog sites that i used to check-out. suprisingly, hindi lang pala ako ang tinatamad mag blog. hehehehe... though, i discovered there are a few blog newbies that i know. i will definitely frequent their blogs now.

arnold just got back from their business planning activity in mimosa. when he got home, his friend from college is already waiting for him to check-out my car. yes, we are selling my civic. his friend is very much interested, but a couple of days ago had second thoughts on getting a car because she has to go back to america sooner than expected. she said she'll be giving us her decision on the car by sunday, coz she really wanted to pay
for my car already when she got the call.

we've been getting some inquiries about the car since we've advised our friends about selling. most of the inquiries are from interested friends, and some are from friends who have a large network of car people who wants to help us sell (of course, we will be providing them a "finder's fee").

on what car to replace my old car with??? well.... let's just wait and see... i don't want to disclose anything yet until, the unit has been ordered. *wink*

as free and available that i feel i am this weekend, i guess my hubby will be busy entertaining friends who want to see the car.

we are also scheduled to see MI3 this weekend, not today though, most likely tomorrow evening. arnold has been excited to see this movie for quite some time now.
