63 Days To Go
to those who are asking when is the big day...
63 days more... the guest list is killing me!!! we have a loooong guest list. total number of invited guests is 397, and the number of guests likely to attend is 329. whoa!!!! can we afford over 300 guests??? uh oh...
the printing of the name tags for the invitations is almost complete. well, arnold's petron guest list are still in process. we have allotted 13 invitations for them, though. we've been calling up family and friends asking who and who won't make it on our wedding day. it's quite surprising that some of the unexpected guests are trying to confirm their attendance. unfortunately, most of my relatives from america are not attending because it's a peak season and the kids are not yet on school break. but... the good news is my youngest brother will be on my wedding day to grace my entourage.
my sister will be home on november 24th. mom is flying out of ny on november 28th, daddy on december 2nd, and my youngest brother on december 6th. our principal sponsors who are also coming from america will be home right before december 10th, except for an aunt in california who won't make it.
in a short while, arnold and i will be scouting for a tailor for his barong. yes! he's now wearing a barong. finally, daddy agreed to wear one, and gave up on insisting that he's wearing a suit/tuxedo. hehehehe... don't worry daddy, you still look good on a barong.
fitting of the entourage dresses/gowns is on october 15th. reminding the female members of our entourage, please make yourselves available on the 15th. thanks.
we have submitted our marriage banns at our respective parishes. wala naman sigurong tutul sa kasal, hindi ba? hehehe...
something i've learned the other night during our meeting with our coordinator and the florist... it's still possible at the city hall to secure a marriage license without appearance and without submitting the requirements. cool sana, pero, parang hindi fair... you have to pay php2k, though. how much will it actually cost to apply for a marriage license, yon legal ah?
our meeting with teddy manuel went well. we discussed the vip table setup, and the new colors for the bouquet of the entourage and the principal sponsors.
the meeting with the coordinator??? tons of things to do on my part. the copy of the guest list. the missalette. the songs (oh no!!! the songs pa pala. need to coordinate this with our music ensemble. paging TENG!!! i need help dude!) for the reception program. the copies of the contract.
that's it for now. watch out for more updates. i'll try to post every day. hehehe... i'll post the prenup photo shoot (part 2) photos very soon!
gtg! bath time!
take care y'all!
