Some Ideas for the Wedding

i'd like to share some ideas for our wedding day. although, i won't go too much into details because, i haven't really given it much thought yet.

anyhow...

bridal bouquet. i want a bouquet of deep red roses. can't explain why. basta, i want red roses. btw, the roses would be holland variety, as discussed with my florist

entourage bouquet. bouquet of flowers in spring colors, combinations of pink, yellow, green, orange, at kung ano-anu pang flowers with bright colors. the bouquet of the flower girls and the little bride will be attached/sewed to the hello kitty doll (previous post) which will be dressed up by my florist.

bridal gown. can't go into detail here. but i want something like a bustier or a spaghetti-strapped gown, with beadwork, of course, but not much into embroidery. and a very long veil..... a simple gown, but elegant will do.

entourage gown. the girls will be wearing gowns in our color motiff, i.e. wine red and silver. different designs for the 3 secondary sponsors, and similar designs for the 3 bridesmaids. for the flower girls, a design that will make them look cuter.

groomsmen suit. it'll be a suit (still subject for negotiation with my broom), as we have this idea to give emphasis to the wedding entourage party. since the females will be wearing gowns in our color motiff, the males will wear a suit. and all guests will wear barong, but not a suit.

avp. this will be delivered by one of our bridesmaids, judy. we'll be having flashback photos, a nice presentation including animation, backdrop, etc. i want the background music to be lively songs, of course related to a wedding and that will definitely reflect my fiancè and i's personality.

reception program. we will be definitely having games to encourage guest participation. a different twist on the garter and bouquet toss... this is gonna be exciting... watch out! ÜÜÜ

favors. still under considerable thought.... we initially decided for a donation to an institution. however, due to popular demand by my elders, a favor is a must... oh well... we'll see... if ever, it'll be something personalized, something of use, probably something edible... hehehe...

invitations. something simple and elegant. with roses all over... hehehe...

table centerpiece at the reception. hmmm.... probably a small christmas tree filled with red roses... since the wedding is on december, it's the christmas season... or we can have water luminaries, water in red color like fire; or we can have both, since the rose christmas trees will come with candles, so instead of candles we may have small water luminaries.

string ensemble/songs played during the reception. all songs must be lively. if in case there is someone willing to render a song, we prefer it in a duet. and please, don't sing IKAW. a lot of weddings we've attended had "ikaw" in their programs. the song became too common in filipino weddings.
