Weekend Adventure
friday as expected became busy. maan and i went to ust in the morning to apply for our graduate school transcipt of records. had lunch at megamall, then, visit some furniture shops. i was able to buy a few large throw pillows and small throw pillows for the guest room bed that i want to look like a day bed. also bought a couple of file boxes and table organizers for some of our stuff, folders, albums, jewelries, accessories, etc. maan, thanks again sis!
saturday also was a busy day for arnold and i. we woke up early and got ready to leave for tagaytay. we had lunch at a dealer's place in tagaytay (very beautiful house) with arnold's colleagues at petron, the bosses and the petron. the lunch was sponsored by the petron dealers association (petda). it's as usual a very warm get-together of the petron people and their families. they kids are always very entertaining, most especially the babies. d=D this makes me realize that i want to have children of my own, with arnold, of course. i want our first-born to be a baby boy. d=)
the young couples of the petron community have always been the ones in the hot seat whenever such get-togethers occur. they will always tease us if we're ready to stay and live at our better-halves' ares in the far far away lands of north luzon. yesterday, they bug me about they asked about the wedding date, the church, the venue (which happens to be owned by a petron dealer in qc--so they asked, "are we asking for discount or a refund?" mga loko talga?! refund daw... hehehe...), the honeymoon (we want it in palawan... ayan nanaman... they keep saying, "the dealers in the islands can help yon on that? saan resort nyo ba gusto?" we're keeping our fingers crosses... hehehe...) my petition for a permanent resident of america, how will it be affected by our upcoming marriage, am i really ready to give up all these for arnold, and other matters and sacrifices that we will soon face... oh well... live... masaya, yet mahirap... arnold and i talked things over, given the circumstances a lot of thought, and decided, yes, we're still getting married on the 10th of december 2005.
after the lunch and a little snack, i asked my arnold to go see the ever-famous caleruega. so, we did. we drove to nasugbu to see the place. it's a nice place, very serene, and very calm. it will definitely give every wedding the solemnity that it deserves.
and it all ends with a light dinner at the bag of beans...
