PRC

been to prc today to renew my professional license. the prc office looks the same as the first time we visited the place in 1998 for the application of the ece licensure exam. it's the still mainit, masikip and magulong office nang prc. visiting the prc today gave me this feeling of missing something. probably missing our time seven years back, falling in line trying to squeeze ourselves into the crowdy place to register for a professional licence, all requirements kept in a brown or plastic envelope and forgetting to bring along a paste or a glue for the id photos. hehehe... falling in line was kinda draining. the place is not airconditioned, the service is a typical philippine government service (sobrang tagal at sobrang bagal), most especially if you're caught in between lunch and coffee breaks; but the pakikipagsiksikan was ok because the main reason you were there was because you passed the board exam, makes you feel proud somehow. this is more likely the reason for feeling high during the prc visit this afternoon. feeling proud with the fruit of your hard work. it doesn't matter if you're able to use this license or not. what's important is feeling good about yourself.

the license renewal was quick. quick as in less than 30 minutes. though, it's quite expensive. i paid four hundred and eighty pesos for the expired license (it expired on my birthday this year). the claim schedule is on the 6th of july. on the way to the prc office, i was kinda hoping that they'll be able to process the id within one day, like the lto's driver's license. that's fast, dba?

so much for that... i gave armi's blog an overhaul. it now has a new look, kept it simple as possible to reflect the personality of the blogger. anyhow, feel free to check it out and your comments and suggestions are most welcome.

quite sleepy now...

tata!
