Movie Marathon

it's the first time that we saw two movies, both in the same day. we saw the movies, the lake house and the fast and the furious: tokyo drift

we saw the the lake house first. i've heard that it is a remake of the korean film, il mare, but i don't exactly know what it was all about. well, the movie is about two people who met and fell in love by writing each other notes and leaves it in a mailbox by "the lake house" that they both lived in at different times. the twist of the story is... they are 2 years apart. the movie for me is very nice, really romantic... imagine having a guy wait for you for 4 years, not seeing you at all and no communication of any means, that's really something. though, the plot may seem unrealistic... but it will still make you realize how good it feels to fall in love.

second movie that we saw was the fast and the furious: tokyo drift. hmmm.... not much to tell on the movie's storyline. but this i gotta say... I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DRIFT!!! hahahaha.... we've been to tokyo early this year, and i kept asking my hubby, "how come i did not see cars like the ones they used in the movie?", and "where in tokyo are those underground parties and races?" oh well... the next time we are in japan, i have to find where that party is, and drift on that mountain (whatever the mountain's name is). hehehe....

btw, before the 2 movies, we were at a friend's wedding for lunch, and went to jorge's portrait studio for the proof-reading of our album layout. well, kwento next time on the wedding. lemme me proceed with our wedding album layout. it's pretty neat!!!! ang galing! we're really satisfied with jorge's portrait's work. ang galing talaga! i hope i can post some of the layouts... unfortunately, we don't have a copy because we personally visited the studio and had the proof-reading there. i'll keep you guys posted on the when we're getting our album and our BIG portrait in canvass. hehehe... makes me wonder... where will i put that portrait in our home??? hmmm...

oh well...
